NY Clarifies Inflation Adjustment In Child Support

“… A change in New York law intended to clarify inflation adjustments made every two years for child support is set to take effect in mid-February. The amendment says the inflation adjustment applied to the combined parental income “cap” will be the sum of two years of changes in the consumer price index for urban consumers multiplied by the existing cap and rounded to the nearest $1,000. …”
